ith technology fielded and proven on U.S. Army helicopters in desert combat, this commercially certified Bell 205 IBF system offers improved performance compared to traditional inertial separators. Dual entry filters on the top and sides provide the optimum hover and forward-flight inlet performance for your Honeywell engine. Flat filter assemblies make servicing a snap. The system quickly and simply replaces the EAPS, IPS or FOD screen and weighs over ten pounds less than the IPS. Access for inspection and removal of the drive shaft is improved and overall maintenance is user friendly. The system also includes an improved water wash system to keep your engine clean and operating at peak efficiency. With system already operating in the harshest of austere environments, this new AFS is the best solution for Huey missions.
