Aerospace Filtration Systems (AFS)
Aerospace Filtration Systems, Inc. (AFS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Donaldson Company, Inc., is the industry leader in the design, development and manufacturing of high performance engine inlet barrier filtration systems used in commercial and military propulsion systems. Our unique desert-proven filtration systems increase performance and reduce operating costs compared to other filtration technologies available today. AFS systems have been combat proven during operation Iraqi Freedom under the most severe conditions. We are proud to be doing our part in supporting fielded U.S. Army operational units.
Since 1998, AFS has invested heavily in applied materials research, turbine engine inlet 3-D flow and performance analysis tools, solid modeling and tool design, and the development of a comprehensive filtration media parametric database. These resources make AFS the technical leader in high flow engine filtration solutions.
We design, manufacture, and deliver both standard and custom integrated filtration systems that have high capture efficiency, low pressure loss, low maintenance cost, and provide a rapid return on investment. Discerning customers like Bell Helicopter Textron, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, AgustaWestland, MD Helicopters, the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment use AFS products. Our systems and replacement products have been military qualified by the U.S. Army for use in all environments and/or have achieved commercial certification.
Please contact us now to see how we can design and qualify/certify a compatible system for your custom application in record time, using our patented barrier filtration technology. AFS is ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100:2004 Rev. B certified, FAA PMA approved, and a U.S. military approved manufacturer. More About AFS
